A downloadable game for Windows

Pinko Linko's School is a game I dug up not too long ago when I was visiting my grandparents. I found it while searching for some old tennis equipment in there storage. The box indicated that it was made in 1998, and yes, you can truly see that it is from that era. The first Doom game also came out in 1998, so this must have been some kind of kids-learning-toy-doom-clone. Anyway, I got it running and managed to rip the files, so here they are!

Side note: I rebinded all the keys from being the arrow keys to wasd, also there were some things in the game that were kind of [REDACTED], but that might have just been me. When you are done with the game you can take a look in the YouWon folder, I left [REDACTED] in there,

How to play?

  • Use the [MOUSE] to look around
  • Use [W] [A] [S] [D] to move the player around
  • Use [E] to interact with objects and npc:s
  • Use [Esc] to pause the game

Developer's note (immersion breaker): Pinko Linko's School is a small project I have been working on, with the main focus being to create minigames and gain a better understanding of another aspect of Unreal that I'm not too familiar with.
I got a little carried away and experimented with saving states of the game, only to have it crash, causing the player to end up in another location.

One of the best indie horrors I've played in a while!

So creative and fun !!

Very fun and educational! My kids had a blast!

Glad to hear! Tho I hope you didnt let them play the horror bit!!!

This was a fantastic subversive horror, where the core game is perfectly fine but if you scratch the surface you find something terrifying. Well done!

very good game!

I love secret doors in games, it gives more to explore! Great job!!!

love it slay

nice retro

I advise you to take a good long look in the YouWon folder for some more replayability...

I don't think the YouWon folder should appear BEFORE the game is completed...

You make a very fair point and I tried to implement it but I couldn’t find a way to get it to work!

Thank you!

Oh, by the way, good game! However, another suggestion is that the Exit door should open after helping all of the students, rather than the player being forced to exit the game themselves.

Oh what! That must be a bug cause you are supposed to just be able to walk towards the door(I think I patched it in the latest version but I'm not sure) thanks for the heads up!
